The Alamo City (featuring Sam and Roxanne)

Nothing says "San Antonio" and "wedding" like the Alamo, right? Probably not, but doesn't matter. As I said in the previous post of this lovely couple, Roxanne and I grew up together here in San Antonio, Texas. Sam is from Springville and they got married in Utah, but while in San Antonio, Roxanne wanted some "San Antonio" type shots featuring some of the Spanish architecture and main sites. It quickly turned into one of my favorite sessions that I've done, running around my home town with old friends.

The first lovely lady of the two lovely ladies I promised to work on this weekend is Jordan. She's on my managers at work, previously photographed in October. She got married a year and a half ago, but for a class I needed to photograph someone in a dress and she was quite excited to get to wear it again. I also wanted to try out my new camera on someone and I love the way that they turned out! Let me know what you think, but I may end up making a reversal switch back to film in the very near future.

Rockabilly Wedding (Silvana and her dress)

When I found out my co-worker, Silvana, was about to get married, I insisted that I photograph her. It took some coaxing to convince her that she wanted bridals, but she's this cute rockabilly girl and is just too cute to pass up. I love her style and adore her. So here you are: Silvana.

Cara's Bridals

I've had these done for a while now and I've been anxious to blog them, but there's the whole superstition about the groom not seeing the bride in white until the wedding day, so I've been holding off. I had two great photo sessions with Cara, both in really beautiful locations, and with a photogenic girl, that makes my job so much easier. Cara and Steve got married a little over a week ago, so be looking for their photographs soon!

Cara's Bridals [Sneak Peek]

This weekend was bridal madness. On Friday we went out to the salt flats to get a few surreal shots of Cara and her dress, and then on Saturday went out again to some gardens to get a few more traditional shots. I don't want to spoil the mystery and fun of dress and the bride, so the rest of the bridals will wait until the wedding day. So, until August 14!
