I'm Not a Bum, Just Been Updating the Website

My parents think I am a lazy teenager: I've been staying up all night and sleeping in till noon. But, it is for a good reason, because I have been updating my website! It's a long tedious process and I don't start to get productive until about 10pm, so I'm sorry you think I'm a bum, but I have some wonderful new (and old) things. I've played around with combining images and going through old weddings which has been quite fun. So, check out my newly updated website, especially the weddings section because that's my favorite. I organized it like a photo essay but using the various weddings I've shot to make one story out of many, which I think turned out nicely. So, go check it out, book me for a sitting, and then maybe my parent's will get off my back while I'm home for the holidays.

New Photographer to Check Out and Farmers Market

So I rarely do this. Actually, I haven't really ever done this I think, but I have found a few photographers lately worth posting about. The first: Heimo Schmidt, a photographer from the US who's photograph of a woman in Iceland literally took my breath away. He makes me want to go to Iceland and photograph the beautiful people there. Also, another photographer recently introduced to me was Olga Chagaoutdinova and her collections of people in various areas, especially the ones of Cuba. Take the moment to read the artists statements on the various projects.

Also, another matter of business: Provo's Farmer's Market. I am going to set up a booth with some photo and art friends of mine, Lindsey, Amanda, and Nick and hopefully next week Lauren will be joining us as well. We're going to be selling cheap prints of various large and small sizes, so at least come visit us. Below is perhaps an image that will be for sale depending on if I change my mind before printing tomorrow or not.
