Sunday night there was a Law Symposium on international law on religious freedom. It was fascinating to see the people from literally all over the world. They made a joke that there were more languages available due to the on campus translations than at the UN. Behind the main speaker is just a list of some of the languages available for the speeches on religious freedom and how religion can be used to help politics, how you can use religious leaders to help better your community.
Homecoming was also kicked off this week with a jazz band, Men's Chorus, the marching band, and many speakers, including two Olympic athletes who go to BYU (a man who threw the discus for Sweden and another who played volleyball for Venezuela).
